Kaede Takemoto

Imagine a graduation ceremony, on stage, students deliver speeches honed after three years of English language study. Then, a student who studied for only six months with NO English prior takes the mic. This was Kaede Takemoto, and her speech, crafted after a mere six months of English learning, would leave a profound impact that eclipsed those delivered by her senior counterparts at other Beyondia schools. You had to listen to all the previous speeches to truly appreciate this simple speech.

Kaede's Speech

Hello everyone, my name is Kaede Takemoto. 
I am six years old. 
Time is fast! It is graduation day!
Firstly, a big thank you to my parents for their love,  support, and for cooking yummy food every day.
I have great memories of Beyondia International Kashiwanoha School.
I loved sports day and playing with friends. 
I enjoyed studying.
When I grow up, I want to be a nurse because I like helping people.
Thank you all for listening to my speech.

With two schools in Tokyo and one in Kashiwanoha Campus station, the facilities provide care and education for children from one year six months to six years old in an English immersion program.
